2 Ingredient – Cheesecake Flavored Ice Cream, made from plain vanilla ice cream

You are enjoying your vanilla ice cream then get a call that company is on the way, quickly turn your carton of vanilla ice cream into cheesecake flavored ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1.42 L/1.5Qt Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 2 teaspoons of All Star Extracts Cheesecake Flavoring
  • Mix in mixer
  • eat immediately for soft serve or freeze for 2 hours for hard serve
  • Yield – 12 – 1/2 cup servings

White and dark chocolate oatmeal butterscotch cookies

Using our favorite oatmeal cookie recipe omitting the raisins and adding in white chocolate and chocolate chips and of course 1 1/2 teaspoons of All Star Extract Butterscotch Flavoring

Directions for a  Yield of 3 dozen – 2 inch cookies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, use ungreased cookie sheets

  • 2/3 cup granulated 
  • 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • one stick melted butter 
  • 1/2 cup melted shortening
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of All Star Extract Butterscotch Flavoring
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs 
  • 3 cups quick cooking or old fashion oats
  • 1 cup all purpose flour 
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c white chocolate chips

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Do NOT grease or flour pan.

  • Mix all ingredients together in the order as shown above for best results, stirring swiftly or mixing in electric mixer.
  • Carefully spoon out batter with a large tablespoon or cookie scoop
  • Bake 8 to 9 minutes, remove and cool on cookie sheet for ten minutes
  • Remove after ten minutes to wire rack
  • Serve when warm or cool or freeze when completely cool
  • Store frozen for up to two months

 

 

Fruity Cheesecake Ice Cream, so easy to make

Directions

  • Spoon out soft vanilla ice cream to your mixing bowl
  • Mix until soft
  • Add 2 teaspoons All Star Extract Cheesecake Flavoring & mix thoroughly
  • Mix in blueberries or strawberries by hand, or freeze and serve later and top with the blueberries and/or strawberries.

 

Peach Mango Ice Cream, a cinch to make with All Star Extracts

For a tangy treat, try our fast and easy to  make Peach Mango Ice Cream.

Ingredients

Directions:

  • Empty carton of soft vanilla ice cream into your mixer bowl, or if it hard, wait a few minutes before mixing it up.
  • Stir in All Star Extract Peach Flavoring
  • Stir in All Star Extract Mango Flavoring
  • Add  red food coloring
  • Add yellow food coloring
  • Optional, cut up a large fresh peach into tiny pieces and stir
  • Pour into a plastic storage container with a cover or back to the carton it came in and freeze for 8 hours or overnight
  • Makes one dozen, half cup servings

Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies – would you believe with out Butterscotch Chips??

Now, here is an economical and delicious discovery..would you ever believe, that you can save the mess of storing butterscotch chips, the expense of buying them and the senseless munching on them, by adding using only 1 1/2 teaspoons for All Star Extract Butterscotch flavoring to make this recipe below of Butterscotch Oatmeal Raisin Cookies??

Here’s a great list of ingredients to get for a Yield of 3 dozen – 2 inch cookies

Preheat oven to 375 degrees, use ungreased cookie sheets

  • 2/3 cup granulated 
  • 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • one stick melted butter 
  • 1/2 cup melted shortening
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of All Star Extract Butterscotch Flavoring
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs 
  • 3 cups quick cooking or old fashion oats
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup raisins

Bake in  375 degree oven for 8 to 9 minutes. (For a little sweeter version,bake 2 minutes and remove and sprinkle tops with a tiny bit of sugar and put back to oven for another 6 minutes.  If you don’t have a sweet tooth, skip the sugar topping)

Place hot cookie sheet on cooling rack for 10 minutes, then remove fo wire rack to finish cooling.  Serve warm or cold.

Store in airtight container after cooled or freeze and enjoy later

 

Turn ordinary Crumb Cake into a Coconutty treat

For Father’s Day on June 17, 2012, I wanted to make a cake for breakfast for my husband.  He loves macaroons, but I thought something coffee cakey would be better for the morning. By adding All Star Extract Coconut Flavoring a simple recipe became a treat!

Yield: 9 good size pieces, or 1 dozen smaller pieces

Ingredients for coffee cake * see ingredients for topping below entire recipe

  • 1 teaspoon All Star Extract Coconut Flavoring
  • 1 1/2  cups Baking Mix such as “Jiffy” or “Bisquick”
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tablespoons of shortening, melted
  • Use 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan, greased and floured.
  • Heat oven to 350 degrees, bake for 30 to 35 min.
  • Beat all ingredients, for 4 minutes. Wait, Do NOT Prepare the  topping ingredients, wait till the cake comes out of the oven to prepare topping ingredients
  • After cake is done, remove and make topping – see below
  • TOPPING is:
  • 1/4 teaspoon All Star Extract Coconut Flavoring
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup fancy sweetened flaked coconut
  • 2 Tablespoons of milk
  • 3 Tablespoons of melted butter
  • optional: 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts ( I did not use any nuts in this batch)
  • While your cake is cooling,  spoon topping mix to cover top of cake
  • Bake with topping on the cake on 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes
  • Remove from oven, and leave in pan but on cooling rack for 30 min.
  •  Serve warm after 30 min. or refrigerate and serve later on.

Making Vanilla Ice Cream taste even better with teaberry extract

  • We turned a carton  of ordinary  vanilla ice cream into a smashing new flavor.
  • Because we live in New England, wintergreen flavor is more prevalent than teaberry flavor, but they both taste great!  Craving a tasty variation, we added just a couple of drops of teaberry flavoring to the carton of vanilla ice cream, and WOW what a tasty treat.  Below you will find just TWO ingredients to add to your plain vanilla ice cream for a fun and yummy treat.
  • 1.42 L or 1.5 quart  Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 3 Teaspoons or 1 Tablespoon  All Star Extract Teaberry Flavoring
  • 10 Drops of red food coloring

Mix together and stir briskly

Soft Serve: serve immediately

Hard Serve: freeze 3 hours and serve

Yield: 12, 1/2 cup servings (66 g)
